Elton John's 2006 tour rocked San Jose on Sept 17th with a sensational blend of old and new. The concert was packed with old favorites like Yellowbrick Road, Tiny Dancer and Saturday Night’s Alright for Fightin. His music was a tight as ever, he was a consummate professional and entertainer. The concert included new songs from his upcoming album "The Captain and the Kid" that is to be released on Tuesday. The new album is a follow up release to his wildly popular "Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboys."

Elton's music included more blues than expected as he displayed his virtuoso piano playing abilities. He thrilled the crowds for almost 3 hours. In short this concert is HIGHLY recommended.
