Donny Scott & Gone To Texas

Born and Raised in Burleson TX, Donny hit the North Texas stages in 1980, at the age of 5. Donny’s next stop was a part with the "Grapevine Opry Kids" which in turn landed him a spot on NBC's Saturday morning pilot, "Country Kids". By the time he was 10 years old, Donny’s talent had taken him all over Texas and as far away as Branson, MO and Nashville, TN. As a teen he began playing lead guitar and soon was opening for big acts like Jerry Lee Lewis, Asleep at the Wheel, Gary Stewart, Toby Keith, and many more!

Donny Scott & Gone To Texas are actively playing in the Fort Worth area. Fans are anxiously awaiting the release of their first single, "True Blue". This original single will first be available at the Gone To Texas Barn Dance in early July.
