Cheap MP3 Players
From LoveToKnow Music
Cheap MP3 players are available for those of us that don’t require the bells and whistles of the newest machines. Who needs waterproof earbuds and a different colored cover for every outfit when all we want is to listen to some music?
Where To Buy Cheap MP3 Players
Any leading retail store that carries MP3 players will have great deals from time to time. Best Buy is a store that carries some reasonably priced, high-end items. However, it will be worth your time to peruse eBay for cheap MP3 players. Be sure to keep your wits about you, however. That way, you won’t end up with a bad case of buyer’s remorse. Pay attention to all of the auctions’ details and only buy from those with a feedback rating above 95%. The percentile can be deceiving, however, as “Power Sellers” may move enough merchandise to keep a high rating, yet they are stiffing every fifth customer. If the seller has a great percentile rating but over 10 negative reviews in a month, don’t buy from them.
Samsung YEPP YP-T7X- Cheap, Yet Premium MP3 Player
This flash MP3 player is priced under $150 and has a great sound quality. It is a very small and attractively packaged player, although it does have its drawbacks. Mac users will want to pass this machine up and the battery can go down fairly quick compared to other players. However, the price, design and sound quality make it a good investment is you are only dabbling in the technology.
Sony Network Walkman NW-E505
This cheap MP3 player has a lot to offer and is available for under $100. The sound quality is top notch and the battery will last for over 3000 minutes. However, some in the industry give this player a mediocre review due to the fact that it requires SonicStage software, which can be a hassle. However, if you are on a budget and don’t mind the separate software, then you won’t find a more attractively packaged player for the price.
Rio Forge Sport
The Rio Forge Sport is a cheap MP3 with an original design. It is great for those who want to listen to their tunes while jogging or trekking across campus. The battery life is impressive for a machine that can be bought for under $100, too. However, some complaints have been made about the FM radio’s reception. If all you want is a sporty MP3 player for a good price, though, the Rio Forge is your machine.
Apple iPod Shuffle
The iPod Shuffle is still a great buy. One of Apple’s groundbreaking MP3 players, it is available for as low as $69 at some retail stores. Although it doesn’t have a display, this Flash MP3 player does have an amazing audio quality and it weighs next to nothing. Considering its featherweight design, it packs quite a punch. For those that want more personalized settings, however, this may not be the right model of iPod.
mobiBlu
This tiny cubical MP3 player boasts a ton of features found in its more expensive brothers but at a fraction of the price - between $60 and $100! Check out mobiBlu's website for more info.
