Other Tim Buton/Danny Elfman Collaborations

As mentioned earlier, Tim Burton and Danny Elfman have collaborated on almost every single one of Burton's film. If you can't get enough of Elfman's music (and Burton's films for that matter) here are some other soundtracks you just may enjoy:

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas – This film is genius, with an equally as genius soundtrack. If you love the Burton/Elfman collaboration, check this soundtrack out.
  • The Corpse Bride – Fantastically scored Burton film.
  • Alice in Wonderland – This film and its soundtrack are slated for release in the spring of 2010, so you'll have to wait a bit. In the meantime though, you can check out the Beetlejuice soundtrack, along with The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Corpse Bride.

Even though Beetlejuice is a film about an obnoxious and bothersome ghost and the music is seemingly more appropriate for Halloween, the instrumentals on the soundtrack make the music appropriate for anytime of year. Even if you're not into ghosts, goblins and the like.
