1by1 Directory Music Player
From LoveToKnow Music
1by1 is a freeware program that lets you listen to mp3 music without all the fuss of large bloated programs. 1by1 is a directory music player that simply displays the mp3 files within a folder in a playlist fashion. You can shuffle, arrange, remove and play all of your mp3s from this straightforward interface.
Advantages of 1by1 - Small Music Player
By far the greatest advantage of 1by1 is its small size. The entire program is only 97KB and requires no installation to your PC. All you do is download it, unzip to your preferred directory, then start listening to music. It's a fast and no-nonsense way of listening to all of your archived mp3 files without messing around with clunky programs.
1by1 is also freeware, meaning it's freely distributed without any hidden fees. There is no spyware, adware or other malicious programs.
Disadvantages of 1by1
If there are any agreed upon disadvantages of this music player is that it's too minimalistic. It plays only a few file formats, though mp3s are supported (which will be the bulk of any music collection). If you're looking for fancy visualization patterns while listening to songs, want support for rare file types or want to create a playlist of songs strewn throughout your hard drive, 1by1 may not be for you.
